Learning Technologies Group, Computing Services, Oxford University
The Learning Technologies Group was established in April 2001 by Oxford University Computing Services in response to a growing demand for advice and centrally based support related to the use of C&IT in traditional teaching, learning and research across all disciplines. The LTG develops and supports central services such as an open source Virtual Learning Environment and researches current developments in the use of C&IT applicable to a traditional university setting. One of the LTG development teams, the Academic Computing Development Team, undertakes projects in collaboration with an academic department, college, or individual, with mutually agreed deliverables and time-scales.
